Plant the seed for a successful career by studying a Certificate II in Horticulture! This course is an entry-level Qualification, allowing participants to gain an insight into the horticulture industry.

This course is low fee* for residents of Western Australia and temporary residents holding certain visa types. An annual fee cap of $400 for those aged 15-24 or concession holders or $1,200 for everyone else, applies to this course. Some eligibility conditions apply for the low fee training and other fees may apply for some courses. Please refer to the FAQs for more information. 

*Please note that eligibility requirements apply to some of the low fee training.

Overview

When Semester 1, 2025

Study Mode On campus

Students will develop skills and knowledge in propagating plants, caring for nursery plants and food gardens, treating weeds and irrigation operations.

Students will also learn how to recognise various plants and also how to operate basic machinery and equipment.

This Qualification underpins a range of work functions and job roles that can lead to a job in the horticultural and land management industries.
