Awards, Digital Credentials and Academic Records

Whether you're completing your studies, need access to your academic records, or require replacement documentation, North Regional TAFE offers a range of services to help you access, verify and share your achievements.

Completing Your Course?

If you are currently completing a qualification, skill set or accredited training, you do not normally need to request your award.

Once all final results have been recorded and your eligibility confirmed, your award documentation will be issued automatically.

Most awards are issued within a few business days; however, please allow up to 30 calendar days for processing and delivery.

Digital Credentials Commencing 16 November

From 16 November, eligible students will begin receiving a secure digital credential in addition to their printed certification documentation.

During the transition period, eligible students will receive:

  • A digital credential
  • A printed qualification, statement of attainment or other eligible certification documentation

Digital credentials provide a secure and convenient way to:

  • Access your achievements online
  • Share qualifications with employers and industry
  • Verify your credentials electronically
  • Store your credentials securely
  • Access replacement credentials without the need for postage

Keep Your Contact Details Up to Date

To ensure you receive both your digital and printed credentials, please check that your:

✅ Postal address is current

✅ Personal email address is current and accessible

Printed award documentation will be sent to the postal address recorded in our system, while digital credential notifications will be sent to your nominated email address.

Update your details via your student Portal before you complete your studies or by contacting info@nrtafe.wa.edu.au.

Need a Copy of Your Results or Award?

Before requesting replacement documentation, you may already be able to access the information you need through one of the options below.

Current Students

Current students can access their results and academic information through the Student Portal.

Access Your USI Transcript

Your Unique Student Identifier (USI) account may contain a VET Transcript showing nationally recognised training completed since 1 January 2015.

This is a free and convenient way to access your training history and may provide the information you require without the need to request additional documentation. https://www.usi.gov.au/

Completed Your Studies from 2018 Onwards?

Students who completed an eligible qualification or skill set from 2018 onwards can request a replacement digital credential free of charge.

Digital credentials provide a fast, secure and environmentally sustainable way to access and share your achievements without the need for printing or postage.

You may already have access to your digital credentials.  Please check your inbox for correspondence from my eQuals.

For printed re-issues of Qualifications or Academic Record, you will need to contact the North Regional TAFE Award Team on 1300 996 573. 
If you need your award documentation urgently please advise why and also what date you need it by in this comment field. Please be advised that while NR TAFE will make every effort to get your documentation to you quickly, at peak times it may take longer.
