Permanent full-time appointment

Lecturing staff employed in 2025 are eligible to receive a Temporary Regional Incentive of $15,000 (pa, gross – to be adjusted pro rata for FTE). About the Position
During the performance of their normal lecturing role, a Principal Lecturer would focus upon leadership and qualitative improvement in educational processes and programs. A Principal Lecturer would be expected to have outstanding skills and qualities in education delivery with a focus on quality teaching and learning.

The Principal Lecturer is a teaching position and is expected to provide college or system wide educational leadership in his/her area of expertise. The Principal Lecturer has industrial leadership responsibilities, which relate directly to the education process, including curriculum, teaching initiatives and industry liaison.

This position will fulfil the role of Head of Discipline (HoD) in Nursing per the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC) Enrolled Nurse Accreditation Standards 2017 - is the lead nursing academic responsible for the design and delivery of the program of study on behalf of the education provider. The HoD is responsible for ensuring that program is delivered as per the accreditation, responding to program monitoring and maintaining communication with ANMAC.

This position will be delivering health and nursing qualifications. 

To be successful, you will have the following…

  1. Significant relevant industry/ vocational or lecturing experience (At least 5 years' experience, including recent experience in a Nursing role)
  2. Relevant vocational qualifications and/or competencies at least to the level to be delivered and assessed including:
  • Holds relevant postgraduate qualification; and
  • AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse with no conditions or undertakings

It is preferred that applicants already possess a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or can demonstrate willingness or progression towards achieving it.

About the role
This position will be responsible for maintaining the appearance of gardens, grassed areas and horticultural teaching compound at the campus, student and staff accommodation and supports gardening operations at other nearby campuses. This includes maintaining garden beds, pruning, weeding, mowing grassed areas, maintaining reticulation and checking watering schedules. Facilitating the purchase of plants and gardening consumables and providing support to the local Facilities team to coordinate on site contractors.

To be successful, you will have the following…

  • Considerable experience and knowledge in a Horticulture background.
  • Proven ability to read and understand written instructions and apply safety principles.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and to be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Physically capable to undertake the duties of the position including manual handling (i.e. movement of furniture and equipment).
  • Possess a broad range of manual skills and practical experience.

About the Position
This position is responsible for assisting students with a disability to fully participate in the learning environment and successfully complete training and assessment requirements.

This position will be responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Provide personal support and assistance to students with disability within the learning environment, taking into account barriers to learning identified in referral and subsequent processes, ensuring appropriate regard for Work Health and Safety requirements, College policies and professional boundaries.
  • Identify and implement effective working practices with students including clarifying information, practicing tasks as directed by lecturers, assisting with access to adaptive and assistive technology and appropriate learning resources, and any other tasks as determined by a student’s vocational training needs.
  • Maintain student records including factual notes regarding learning support delivered and/or needed by students, and where required seek guidance and assistance to address needs.

To be successful, you will be:
An enthusiastic, supportive individual with a demonstrated understanding of the needs of students with disability and how to empower them in a vocational education environment.

We are looking for an inspirational lecturer who is passionate about passing their vocation onto the workforce of the future.

This position will be delivering health and nursing qualifications such as 52895WA Certificate IV in Preparation for Health and Nursing Studies and HLT54121 Diploma of Nursing and associated short courses and skill sets.  

To be successful, you will have the following…

  1. Significant relevant industry/ vocational or lecturing experience (minimum of 5 years)
  2. Relevant vocational qualifications and/or competencies at least to the level to be delivered and assessed including:

About the Position
We are looking for Cleaners who assists in maintaining general cleanliness, hygiene and presentation of the Campus and Student Accommodation.

These positions will be responsible for:

Cleaning Services:

  • Under direction from the Cleaner in Charge, undertake routine cleaning duties, including but not limited to emptying of bins, refilling hand towel and soap dispensers, cleaning toilets and fixtures, floors, benches, drinking fountains, dusting, cobwebbing and removing marks from walls as required.
  • Periodic deep cleaning of walls and floors including moving furniture and operation of gurneys, floor scrubbers, wet vacuums and other heavy cleaning machinery
  • Assist the Cleaner in Charge with care and maintenance of cleaning equipment and advising of required repairs to equipment.
  • Assist the Cleaner in Charge with monitoring stock levels of consumables and stock security.
  • Assist with implementing improvements in college cleaning processes.
  • Undertake regular cleaning of college fleet vehicles.
  • Carry out other cleaning duties as required.

OSH Services:

  • Routine cleaning duties are to be undertaken in a safe and responsible manner according to Occupational Safety and Health requirements and conduct risk assessments when required.
  • Participates in the maintenance of a safe work environment.

This position will be delivering Certificate I, II, III, IV in Conservation and Ecosystem Management; Certificate II and III in Horticulture and associated short courses and skill sets such as chemical handling and chainsaw at Karratha and Broome campuses. Considerable travel will be required for this role.
