This Qualification is designed around a flexible, strength-based framework, allowing students to explore their interests and incorporate their life experiences into their learning journey.

  • Developing, implementing, and reviewing learning goals for the future
  • Reading, interpreting, and evaluating familiar paper and web-based texts
  • Creating a variety of familiar texts, as well as some more complex ones, with specialised vocabulary and spelling
  • Interpreting, estimating, and calculating simple numerical information for personal purposes, such as budgeting, financial planning, and everyday mathematics
  • Using both paper and web-based mediums to engage with and create texts of limited complexity
  • Building digital literacy and IT skills for everyday use
