Using a combination of structured teaching and unstructured learning activities, students will build your skills in working with numbers and money, creating computer-based texts, directions, teamwork and job seeking to grow confidence and employability skills. 

Training is built around a flexible strength-based framework, allowing students to pursue their interests and incorporate your own life experiences into your learning.
 
This course is available at other campus locations upon request.
The Certificate I in General Education for Adults will meet the entry requirements for most Certificate II, III or IV level TAFE courses.

Throughout this course, you will gain skills in: 

  • Engaging with and creating texts using digital technology
  • Interpreting statistics using graphs, diagrams and charts
  • Working with numbers and money
  • Interpreting directions
  • Teamwork and collaboration
  • Job seeking
