Students completing the IAD29 Operate Tractors Skill Set will learn to:

  • Carry out pre-operational checks and maintenance including tagging defects
  • Set and secure attachments according to manufacturer's directions
  • Operate tractor in a safe and controlled manner
  • Implement shut-down procedures
  • Store machinery and equipment
  • Record maintenance and operation details

On successful completion of this course, students will receive a statement of attainment for the following nationally accredited unit AHCMOM202 Operate Tractors.
