MARSS00011 Marine Radio Operator's VHF Skill Set
This two-day skill set provides participants with the essential skills and knowledge to operate VHF marine radios safely correctly.
This course is a mandatory requirement of the Coxswain Grade 1 and Coxswain Grade 2 qualifications (where a vessel has a VHF radio fitted). This certificate is also suitable for those recreational vessel operators who have a VHF radio onboard.
This is a targeted skill set related to the Skills Ready program, which is aimed at rebuilding our local businesses and communities with free and reduced-price training. Other skill sets can be found on our Skill sets and short courses (opens in a new tab) page.
