Study Mode On Campus

In this skill set course, you'll learn
• general kitchen and food preparation skills by preparing a range of simple dishes
• the safe use of commercial kitchen equipment such as deep fryers, food processors, ovens
• how to clean food preparation areas, storage areas, and equipment efficiently
• minimising negative environmental impacts
• preventing food contamination, including how to identify and control food hazards

It covers all the 'must know' skills that employers are looking for, so you'll be skills ready and job ready!

This course contains five units and is delivered in 2 blocks of 5 days each.
Each day of training will be approximately 7 hours.
This course is delivered on campus at Broome and Kununurra in the purpose-built Commercial Cookery Training Centres.
