This fun, hands-on course is the perfect starting point for students eager to dive into the world of garment-making. Whether starting from scratch or looking to boost sewing skills, students will be guided through the basics of using a sewing machine, from threading and winding a bobbin to cutting and laying out fabric with confidence.
By the end of the course, students will have the skills to create stylish, custom garments—think elastic-waist pants or shorts! But this course isn't just about following instructions; it’s about developing a creative mindset. Students will sharpen their thinking and problem-solving skills, learning to choose fabrics, troubleshoot challenges, and make informed design decisions along the way.
In addition, students will explore creative techniques to elevate their work, transforming simple ideas into fashion-forward pieces. Whether looking to create unique garments or start a new hobby, this course will inspire creativity and leave students excited for their next sewing project.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements:
- Closed in shoes to be worn for all classes
