What You'll Learn:

Global Traditions & Concepts: Discover the rich history and cultural significance of ceramics from around the world. Understand how different cultures create and use ceramics, and their place in the broader context of Visual Arts.

Hands-On Techniques: Get your hands dirty with practical training in reclaiming clay, mixing your own glazes, and loading and firing a kiln to bisque and glost temperatures.

Complex Forms: Challenge your creativity by learning to craft more intricate pieces like vases, teapots, jars with lids, and composite sculptures.

Studio Management: Become proficient in managing a ceramics studio efficiently and safely. Gain the skills to set up your own studio, handle materials, and operate machinery independently.
