The Diploma of Project Management may be suited to you if you wish to work as a project leader on medium to large-scale projects. It is also suited to those who wish to gain the skills and knowledge to undertake small-scale and ad hoc projects within or external to an organisation.

This course is low fee* for residents of Western Australia and temporary residents holding certain visa types. An annual fee cap of $400 for those aged 15-24 or concession holders or $1,200 for everyone else, applies to this course. Some eligibility conditions apply for the low fee training and other fees may apply for some courses. Please refer to the FAQs for more information.

This course provides students with the essential skills and knowledge to undertake project management practices. 

Throughout this course, you will train in an online simulated workplace environment consisting of business scenarios and organisational policies and procedures that need to be completed. 
If you are already employed, you may be given the option of using your workplace policies and practices for training and assessment purposes.
The Diploma of Project Management can lead to job roles such as a contract coordinator, project manager, quality administrator or risk management professional.

  • Understanding, defining and managing the scope of a project
  • Managing project resources such as time, people and costs
  • Overseeing and managing quality, risk and improvement processes
  • Managing meetings and communication

This course is suited to you if:

  • You are working in a business environment and wish to progress into a project management role for medium or large-scale projects 
  • You wish to gain the knowledge and skills to undertake small scale or ad hoc projects within or external to an organisation

This course is ideal for people looking to enhance their skills in project management and may lead to occupations such as Project Manager or Project Team Leader. This course has a broad range of applications from the management of construction sites to the successful implementation of new systems or programs.
