Throughout this course, students will:

  • Extend their skills as a musician, both in group and solo settings
  • Apply music knowledge and artistic judgement to their work and career
  • Manage copyright
  • Build their studio and live engineering skills
  • Negotiate contracts
  • Build sound engineering skills in live and studio settings
  • Incorporate music technology into their compositions
  • Produce sound recordings
  • Build and extend their career in the music industry

  • you have some in-depth experience working in an area of specialisation within the music industry. This may include, but is not limited to, musicians, songwriters, sound engineers and artist managers. 
  • you may have been working in the Music Industry for an extended period of time but are interested in building and maintaining currency and expertise
