Training is focused on empowering and equipping students with the knowledge and competencies required of care workers to deliver individualised support to people with disability.

Students will be taught how to use discretion and judgement when providing this support and to take ownership of tasks and outcomes.

Your learning will be supplemented by hands-on experience during mandatory work placements.

Please be aware that COVID-19 vaccination is an employment requirement for many healthcare providers.
