CHC32015 Certificate III in Community Services

There is a growing demand for skilled support workers in the community services and youth work sectors across the North West.
This course is low fee* for residents of Western Australia and temporary residents holding certain visa types. An annual fee cap of $400 for those aged 15-24 or concession holders or $1,200 for everyone else, applies to this course. Some eligibility conditions apply for the low fee training and other fees may apply for some courses. Please refer to the FAQs for more information.

This Qualification has been developed to grow your knowledge in needs identification, service planning and development, and team leadership.
Throughout this course, you will gain skills in:
- Identifying client needs
- Planning and developing appropriate services
- Interpersonal skills to work in residential and or community settings with clients
- Effective communication
- Gathering, maintaining and providing information
- Advocacy and community development processes
- Ethical behaviour
- Legal responsibilities of community workers
This qualification will suit students looking to gain the skills and knowledge required for entry level community services roles. Students may already be employed within the community services or youth work industry and looking to expand their skills.
