Study Mode On Campus | Traineeship
This qualification provides the minimum requirement for employment in manufacturing, engineering, or related industries. Offered through a formal traineeship, it combines workplace experience with study at North Regional TAFE. Training includes both on-the-job and off-the-job components specified in an individual Training Plan. Employment in an engineering or manufacturing environment is required. School students must be formally engaged in a traineeship. This qualification equips you with foundational knowledge and skills for future career opportunities in these industries.
Participants will learn skills in:
- Using tools
- Measuring and calculating
- Technical drawing and drafting
- Welding
Participants will also learn about safety in the workplace, computing and maths. Participants will be able to practice the skills they have learned during on and off the job training.
