AHC21020 Certificate II in Conservation and Ecosystem Management

The Certificate II in Conservation and Land Management provides students with the practical skills and knowledge, vital to succeed in the conservation and land management industry. If you enjoy working outdoors and appreciate the wonders of the natural world - this course could be right for you! Participants will gain skills in occupational health and safety, fire management, machinery operation and maintenance, fencing and biodiversity practices.

This course is low fee* for residents of Western Australia and temporary residents holding certain visa types. An annual fee cap of $400 for those aged 15-24 or concession holders or $1,200 for everyone else, applies to this course. Some eligibility conditions apply for the low fee training and other fees may apply for some courses. Please refer to the FAQs for more information.

Throughout this course, students will complete written assignments and work in teams to undertake programs that assist in maintaining the natural environment.
This course is usually not campus-based but delivered upon request to closed groups on rural properties across the Kimberley and Pilbara regions. Please contact us for more information.
This Qualification can equip students for employment opportunities in pest management, land care, conservation, parks and wildlife, ranger groups and land regeneration.
