Throughout this course students will learn how to use and maintain tools and equipment in an automotive workplace and also learn how to identify basic automotive faults using troubleshooting processes.

Students will undertake training in workplace safety as well as environmental and sustainability practices. Additionally, this course will also cover the inspecting and testing of various mechanical components such as suspension, steering, brakes, batteries, drive shafts and cooling systems.
