This pre-apprenticeship course is perfect if you want to give yourself a head start in learning a trade and provides you with a competitive edge to land an apprenticeship in mechanics. Throughout this course students will learn how to use and maintain tools and equipment in an automotive workplace and also learn how to identify basic automotive faults using troubleshooting processes.

Learn in our state-of-the-art facilities using specialised diagnostic equipment and fully equipped classrooms and workshops.
Students will undertake training in workplace safety as well as environmental and sustainability practices. Additionally, this course will also cover the inspecting and testing of various mechanical components such as suspension, steering, brakes, batteries, drive shafts and cooling systems.

You are employed in the automotive industry or a student or school-based trainee wishing to gain skills for employment in the automotive repair sector.
