This qualification is perfect to advance your career and give you the skills and experience that employers are looking for as an apprentice automotive air conditioning technician.
This course is low fee* for residents of Western Australia and temporary residents holding certain visa types. An annual fee cap of $400 for those aged 15-24 or concession holders or $1,200 for everyone else, applies to this course. Some eligibility conditions apply for the low fee training and other fees may apply for some courses. Please refer to the FAQs for more information.

Overview
Study Mode On Campus
Automotive air conditioner technicians work in a range of fields including light vehicle, automotive electrical, heavy vehicle, mobile plant and equipment, and more.
Successful completion of this qualification will allow you to work effectively in the automotive industry. It will equip participants with the ability to perform a range of tasks relating to servicing and repairing air conditioning components and systems of cars and heavy vehicles in an automotive service and repair business. Participants will learn how to test and repair basic electric circuits; diagnose, repair, retrofit and modify air conditioning and HVAC systems; carry out diagnostic procedures, as well as a range of other tasks.
Training is conducted in modern workshop facilities, where you'll get to learn on a range of different vehicles and systems.
The completion of this qualification enables an individual to apply for an AAC02 - Refrigerant handling licence - qualified persons (Automotive air conditioning licence).
Throughout this course, you will gain skills in:
